Icons showing up in the middle of posts

    Hi, this is a great plugin, but we chose to select the icons only show up at the bottom left of posts, but it seems to be picking up the highlights in our daily Today in Sports articles as a post and is incorrectly placing the icons under each and every highlight (which shows up in the ‘Highlights’ section in the middle of the article) instead of strictly at the bottom of the page. It seems like this is the only place its incorrectly showing up.

    If you know of any way we can fix this, please let me know. Thank you!

    Are your “highlights” defined as posts in your theme?

    If you only place the icons via shortcode instead, does that fix it?

    Thank you for the quick response! Yes, I believe they are defined as posts as that’s the only reason that would make sense, but the post shortcode for those highlights to appear in the Today in Sports is the exact same type of code for the headlines and facts that are also on the page, yet it only appears under the highlights, which is what can be confusing.

    Can you elaborate please on how to place the icons via shortcode if that is the most logical solution?

    Ok yes, so if the highlights are defined as posts, it makes sense that the icons appear there as you selected to show them after posts.

    With shortcode, you simply only place them on the specific pages where you want them. Then they don’t show up anywhere else. But it might be a hassle to place the shortcode always manually.

    Maybe this plugin https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ would be a good option for you? There you can define inclusion & exclusion rules, i.e. you can set it up like today, just define that the icons shouldn’t show on your homepage.
