icons randomly do not show up at all

awesome icons btw, hence the name I guess, heh… However, I have noticed font-icons loadtime is slow and sometimes the font icons do not show up. This will not happen always, just annoyingly at random times, on random pages… sometimes on all pages, but most often just a random few.I would provide links to pages it not working on, but it’s random.
At time of writting this, this page was affected by the font-icon bandit:
