icons not showing in backoffice

i don’t use that SSL cert, that must be another plugin. Have you disabled all other plugins to see if the issue goes away?

This SSL cert warning is just because you are loading this picture from a website that uses a certificate schedule to be distrusted (https://security.googleblog.com/2018/03/distrust-of-symantec-pki-immediate.html). i don’t think it is related with the missing icons.

I’ve tested with all plugins disabled and still the missing icons aren’t showing up.

not sure why this is happening, can you open a browser inspector and make sure that font awesome js is loaded.

you have fontawesome loaded twice, that is the issue. One is for mDocs the other is something else.

You can try to goto mdocs settings and disabling fontawesome see if that fixes the problem.

Tried disabling in the mdocs settings and the all icons disappear for all, back end (https://prntscr.com/k8yyef) and front end (https://prntscr.com/k8yxd3).

The theme also uses the Awesome font. I change the theme to Twenty Seventeen and the icons appeared in the back end.

Now, how can it be solved and I don’t thing I am allowed to disable the Awesome font in the theme? Any suggestion to solve it?

You will have to edit the theme and disable the fontawesome from there.

I’ve disable the fontawesome in the back end (through functions.php associated wwith child theme and code

but it didn’t work (https://prntscr.com/kaejtw).

If I disable in the front end doesn’t solve the issue either, just lose the fontawesome in the theme.

Any other suggestion?

The issue seems to be that Memphis is using an outdated font awesome, previous than the latest Version 5.

Can you confirm and check it?
