icons don’t respond to color change

    I would like to ask for help with the social icons plugin. I have used the social icons widget to put social icons in my sidebar widget. They all show up and link to my social networks fine. However, in setting them up, I selected a custom green color for the icons and a custom blue for the hover color. The icons show up on the site in their original standard colors. Thanks.
