Icons and filters customization

  • Hi, I have been using the product tables plugin for a long time, almost from the moment it appeared. During this time, I had a few questions about its usability:
    – It is very necessary to display a category filter in the form of a line with categories, above the table, instead of a drop-down menu.
    So it will be easier for the user to find the right one and so he will get acquainted with the entire list.
    – I use the “Automatic column hiding” responsive mode, but I really want to replace the line folding icons with my own, because those that are pre-installed by default are not suitable for the site design.
    I looked for ways to resolve these issues myself, tried to change the styles of the elements, but the result was not satisfactory.
    In addition, my edits were erased after updating the plugin. Please help me resolve these issues.

    As for the filter in one line, there is no simple solution, I will submit this issue for discussion, and most likely in one of the future updates we will add such feature.

    On the folding icon. In the table settings there is a separate tab for custom styles called CSS. If you paste your styles there, they will not disappear with the plugin update. I will also discuss the possibility of uploading an icon as an image.

    I also want to change the color and size of that icon, but I’m not really good at CSS, how do I find the lines I need?
