• Hello

Thank you for this intuitive theme.

Is there an image library or content you can generate for more icon options like the ones below ?

[Or shown in the Services section of the default theme — the Digital Strategy/ Code/ Socials icons etc]

  • Hi,

do you mean to select a different icon for the template? if yes, you can click the icon in the editor and the icon library will open up.

if you want to add a new icon that does not exist in the icon library, unfortunately, gutenverse does not have that feature yet. but what you can do instead is use the icon type image and upload image of the icon.

    Hi Gowinda…

What am i missing in my setup if the icon library does not pop up like in your clip .

    hi,

can you send a video of how you are doing it?

I don’t think it is a problem with the setup. you can also use the gutenverse icon in the toolbar if clicking the icon does not open the icon library.

when you click a block in the editor the toolbar should pop up. also, make sure you have installed and activate the gutenverse plugin.

    Hi,

First, thank you for the video. Have you made any significant changes? I think I’ve identified the cause of the issue, and the solution may require you to reinstall the theme. Our theme has two versions: one that uses the WordPress Gutenberg block and one that uses the Gutenverse block. The Gutenverse version should activate when the Gutenverse plugin is installed and active. The version you showed in the video was the WordPress version. There are two possible scenarios:

    • You installed the theme and made some changes before the Gutenverse plugin was installed and active. If you are unsure, you can check the other templates to see if they use the Gutenverse block. It will show [block] if it uses WordPress Gutenberg, and [section] if it uses Gutenverse. If other templates have a Gutenverse block, here is a video for reference :

In the video, I showed you the difference between the WordPress and Gutenverse versions. The next part demonstrates how you can use the Zeever part to modify the one you prefer. If you have made changes to a specific part, you can keep that part and update the ones that haven’t been changed or have only minor changes that are easy to recreate. The last part shows you how to import from the Gutenverse library instead.

    • the next scenario is the theme is not installed correctly. if the other templates also show [block] as the container and you don’t see the gutenverse block anywhere in the theme, this might be the case. and the solution will require you to reinstall the theme, the changes you made might been lost.
