Icon changes will not save

have you already followed the instructions from mapsmarker.com/readme-first?

I have looked for other threads with the same issue and didn’t find anything, and deactivated all other plugins and changed my theme and the issue persists. I did initially have to manually upload the icon pack, using the provided instructions, and the icons do show up and appear usable on the market settings page.

mhhh – would need to have a look at your site as temp admin to be able to further anaylse this. If this is possible, please set up a temp admin account with email info (a) mapsmarker com

thanks for the credentials – anyway I could not reproduce this issue – I just successfully updated the icon for https://twoheartsmakeone.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=leafletmapsmarker_marker&id=3

are you sure you clicked on the link “show more icons”?

Now that you mention it, when I would go to the edit page before I don’t remember having to click on the “show more icons” button because the full list was already displayed. I logged into your demo site to make sure that it worked the way I was expecting it to, and that was the only notable difference. After you logged in to my page, that list is now hidden and I have to click the button to show the list — but it still doesn’t update the icon when I select it.

I’m really not sure what I’m doing wrong; especially if you were able to change the icon on my site. I recorded a short video of my attempt to change the icon, maybe you can identify what I’m missing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjIES3c8wBc

Since you were logged in as an administrator on my site, the only difference between our accounts would have been that yours was created after the plugin was installed, and mine of course was created first. I created a new administrator user account to test myself, however, and was again unable to change the icons.

So now, I tried it in a different browser and it updated properly. When trying to change the icon in IE11, it does not work.

Edit: On the demo site, I can update icons on your demo site, just not on my own.

thanks for the feedback – there seems indeed to be a problem with icons saving in IE11 – will fix this for the next release (probably available this weekend). Please use alternative browsers in the meantime…

I just hotfixed the current version – if you download the current package, unpack it and overwrite leaflet-marker.php on your server and it will work again on IE11. Official fix coming in v3.8.11
