Lovely theme of course, many thanks. Icomoon fonts don’t seem to be working as usual. Is there a theme function that may be over-riding using the icomoon font as either data-icon="[code here]" or class="icon-[name of icon]" ? I used PUA encoding when exporting the font files.
I've used the icomoon file set successfully with other themes, but for some reason the icons do not want to show up. I was hoping perhaps someone here was getting it to work on their site, or had luck with other custom icons and could advise.
This is a self-hosted site that I'm developing locally using MAMP. I've also tried on my live site theandersoncomedy.com just to confirm it wasn't some wacky local behavior. I did a pretty thorough search on the wp forums and google, but didn't see anything that specific. Thought I'd see if someone here had any advice. I wasn't sure if I need to be a premium theme subscriber for an answer.

I love it when I answer my own questions, hopefully this will help others with various css issues as I think this might be the cause of some style misbehaviors. I spent my hours so you don’t have to!
The problem: Despite changing the stylesheet (child theme!), the changes were not showing up when styling the site.
The solution: While I’d saved the style.css many times, the style.min.css was never updated after saving the style.css
It just wasn’t part of my workflow, but now it is! I used this css minifier tool then saved it as style.min.css and everything looked super lovely!!!
So excited, and thanks again for the theme.

The common practice is to import the parent style.css (or style.min.css – doesn’t really matter) into your child theme’s style.css and then override some of the styles with your custom CSS.

Copying the whole parent stylesheet to the child theme kind of makes the whole idea (or at least half of it) of child theming pointless ?? . And there are some other potential drawbacks.
