Icegram was great.
-
I give Icegram four stars because they promptly refunded me and the basic does work very well for my site. They also offered to try to fix the problem that I was having below.
It worked great until I upgraded to get other options, however, after I installed the $60 worth of upgrades, the site broke. So I first disabled the inline pack and it came back. I wanted the inline pack the most. I thought the rest were going to work so I set up another toast. I was checking how it would look on the ipad and it was fine, but after a couple refreshes, it would not load anything but a light purple, blank screen (my website background color). So I disabled the rest except the ribbon pack and it ended up coming back. It was disappointing. Maybe it can be fixed, but I do not know if I have the time to tinker with something that should work as a simple notification. I don’t know. I was really looking forward to adding these, but evenso I was a bit disappointed because the colors should at least be customizable. Unfortunately, with the ribbons I am stuck with bright red instead of what would work.
One great thing that I will add about Icegram is that this is the only plugin that I have been able to find which has the ability to define devices. So if I only want the campaign to show on cell phones, but not on tablets or desktops, I can just uncheck them. Usually, other lead campaigns just show on everything by default and there is no way to change or customize the showings by device.
