iCal Sync – Recurring Events being imported as Single Events

Hi there, been using your calendar plugin for a few years now, along with the ical sync.

I have a client that needed their event calendar from a church management software (Breeze) synced with the online calendar. I’ve managed to get the events synced using the generated ical address, but the only issue is that recurring events are being added as single events, which results in over 500 events being imported. I’d like to be able to group these occurrences to decrease the amount of posts, as well as avoid having duplicate permalinks (event-name, event-name-1, event-2, etc.).

Is there a specific structure that the ical feed needs to abide by in order for EO to read it correctly for recurring events?
