Hi Jb, thanks for the message and for looking to help with our translation. We don’t have a public github repo but I can get that setup and send you the info here this week

    Thanks,

Hi @li-an, our last release addressed a bug with an unusual server setup, but the next major release will address internationalization. We will post back here when we have that version released, and will welcome any help with translating ??

    Thanks,
    Nathan

OK thanks.I plan to write a post about your plugin on my WP plugins reviews blog but I prefer to wait for internationalization.

Hi there, we have just released v1.1 of Plugin Detective which includes internationalized strings with the plugin-detective text domain
(see the languages/troubleshoot-app-translations.php file inside plugin-detective directory)

Plugin Detective is a unique plugin because it loads a single-page app (that even works when WP is white-screened), so I need to figure out how to get the translations to show up within our app, even when all of WordPress isn’t loaded. We are outputting the strings as a javascript object, so I think this should be possible but Plugin Detective might need a couple more tweaks to get translation really working.

I believe my next step here is to download some .mo translation files from the GlotPress install and add them to our plugin files? I know www.remarpro.com changed how that was handled at some point, implemented GlotPress, and stopped bundling all languages with the plugin downloads. But I’m afraid I’m a little fuzzy on the logistics to get the language translations into our plugin so it’s fully supported. Any pointers or documentation on how to proceed would be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Nathan
