“Set the image filename as the image Alt Text. This was a default feature in WordPress before 4.7. The plugin restores this essential feature which is great for SEO.”

Yes, I have the free version, and I would like to do that. What should I do for this ?

    Kind regards.

    Hello @ultimateb93

Thanks for checking out my plugin.

For this all you have to do is to check this option in the “Basic” settings tab of the plugin – https://jmp.sh/MnOaMzz

I just tried this on the Gutenberg editor and I can confirm that it works as expected.

    I hope that helps.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the answer,

Is it possible to do this before the plug-in was installed ? Because I have a lot of image with “number” title that were updated before the plug-in, I could only add the alt text.

if yes, it is possible with the Bulk Updater ? How can I do that ?

    Thank you.

It is possible. Go to the bulk updater tab and click on “Test Bulk Updater” to see if the change that happened is what you expected.

Make sure you take a database backup before you run the bulk updater. Any changes cannot be reverted otherwise.

The free version doesn’t update in the posts, but only in the media library. To update everywhere else, you need the pro add-on – https://imageattributespro.com/

    I hope that helps.
