Hello Tutor LMS Team, I would like to embed custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript inside my lesson content to make presentations more interactive. However, the lesson editor only allows text, videos, and file uploads, and my custom HTML does not display correctly. Is there a way to insert and execute custom HTML, JavaScript, and CSS within lessons? If not, do you have any recommended solutions or workarounds? Thank you for your help. Best regards

  • Hello @profechris,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You are correct that the visual editor does not support embedding custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript directly. However, you can achieve this by switching to the Text Editor, instead of the Visual Editor.

Thank you for your response. I have tried switching to the Text Editor and embedding my custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript there. However, the content does not render as expected—it only displays the raw code instead of applying the styles and interactivity.

Is there a specific setting or additional step required to ensure that the custom code executes properly within the lesson content? If not, is there any recommended workaround to achieve this functionality?

    I appreciate your guidance.

    Hello @profechris,

    Thank you for the update!

To better assist you, could you please share the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code you’re using? You can easily paste it into a service like https://pastebin.com/ and send me the link. This will help me test it on my local environment and better understand what might be causing the issue.
