I would like an 'recent post' accordion (one post at a time, max. 5 displayed)

  • the ‘warning’ on a plugin does not mean it is not working – some code is more or less independant of the wp revisions, and the plugin might still work (for a long time).

    have you tried using the plugin?
    did it work?
    if not, what was the problem?

    Hi Alchymyth, thanks for responding.

    I followed your advice and tried installing it.

    1. Installation went well, no errors.
    2. At the dashboard the plugin appeared, widget also.
    3. After using the widget in the sidebar, title given showed; but the recent posts failed to load. So its not working.

    Please have a look at this screenshot.
    If you are able to help, please do.
    Or offer a solution, maybe a tutorial or alternative plugin to achieve my goal: accordion recent posts
