• Such a frustrating headache. Basic things I used to be able to do like add a link to an image are no longer possible. Or at least not intuitive in any way.

    The editing screen is very cluttered.

    The things I used to be able to find easily are either hidden away or missing altogether.

    The blocks don’t work intuitively. You should be able to easily put blocks side by side, but no you can only put them vertically. What’s the point of the blocks then?

    I am so happy I just found out I can go back to the Classic Editor.

  • Hear, hear! Exactly the issue I’m having with regard to blocks. There’s no intuitive way to move them where I want them except, as you point out, vertically.

    Drop a Columns block, put whatever you want inside each column, or drag & drop existing blocks…

    If I drop a column Block, then drop a Classic Block with image left justified to text inside the column, the next time I go to edit the Post the blocks show “This block shows unexpected or invalid content” and gives me two choices Resolve or convert to html. When I click ‘Resolve’ I see the first tag in the html is ‘<pfigure>’ If I choose the resolution, the image is no longer left justified.
    Thanks

    @loosefast

    Don’t use Classic Block, use a Image block and align it left, then write your text. It works.

    And remember that (as far as I know) Columns block is a work in progress.

    @ogalinski,

    Thanks!
