I wish to send an auto-newsletter only when a post is added to a certian categor

    on my site i have several categories, blog, portfolio, news etc…
    i wish the newsletter to be sent automatically only when a post is being added to the “blog” category – is this possible ?

    on the mailpoet newsletter admin area i see only the option to send when a “new content” is added..

  • When you create a new automatic newsletter and go to step 2 (editing the template) you are able to drag in a widget called ‘Automatic Latest Content’. The settings for that widget allow you to choose between Posts, Pages, etc and which tags and/or categories to use.

    ahh thank you ! it wasn’t cleat to me if that area is in charge of showing just the last content, while step one was in charge of when an email will be sent.
