I wants to let the popular posts to be on the front page

    Hey hector ,

    Is there a way for me to pull all the popular posts from my network to the front page of the site and not in the sidebar.

    Also , i have tried to place the short code onto a page but the page is showing this in return “wpp_get_mostpopular().” when i load it.

    Hope there is a way for me to place the shortcode correctly on the page or make it on the front page of the site ?

    Hi there!

    Unfortunately, displaying the top popular posts from all the sites in your network is not possible. The reason is that every site has its own set of database tables, and so the data from each one of them are stored in different places. This is by design as it’s how WP Multisite works. Also, getting the most popular posts from all the site on the network might be too intensive for the server, specially if there are a lot of sites (and posts / pages) in the network.

    When you say “short code”, you mean the [wpp] shortcode right? If so, then that doesn’t sound good. Your theme isn’t parsing the [wpp] shortcode properly. You should report this to the theme developer.

    Actually , i wanted to use it for a multisite account. I will conatct the theme developer for the shortcode. I’m grateful for the early reply.
