Hello, I have updated to the latest version of A5 and WordPress.

After doing some troubleshooting I have determined that the new version of A5 is not displaying the logo properly. Its much smaller than what is specified in custom setting. It also does not work with multi-site activation. It will work if I do not activate network wide. But it will not work if I activate network wide.

This is all i can report at this time ??

    Please advice!

    Hello Seth,

thanks a lot for reporting bugs that you find. I have to check out the display of the logo. There had to be made some changes due to the size of the original logo (changed to 84 by 84 px) and due to the possibility to include the blog’s header and footer from the frontend.

Did you specify the width and height of the logo as 300px in the settings?

And about multisite… What can I say. I have done the plugin for multisite because I needed it for a project and it used to work. I may have broken the multisite ability of it, getting more and more functionality into it over the time.

Alas the project doesn’t exist anymore and I can’t say whether it would work there as well or not.

I will have to have a deeper look into that at one point.

For the too small logo, I’ll come back to you asap.

    Best,
    Stefan

Ok, back again. I did mix up things with the css for the logo in deed. But I found back my testing environment for multisite and it still works. So, what exactly is the problem you have with the plugin on a network?

    Cheers!

Hello, I set the width and height of the logo. I also specified the container width and height to work with the logo. The log just looks like it is the size of the WP logo. Very small.

    Network:

When I activate network wide it just doesn’t work. The plugin appears in the admin panel and I can try to customize the login page. But when I make any changes to A5 settings nothing happens. I mean nothing!

It only works when when activated on a per site bases.

    Network activation just doesn’t work

    Hi Seth,

the problem with the logo is solved in the newest version of the plugin (2.4.2). I had a little mess up with the sizes of the container and the logo itself.

And about what you encounter with network activation, I cannot say anything yet. I can’t reproduce it yet.

    Sorry

I noticed you fixed the logo issue after updating a few minutes ago! ?? Thanks!

Im not worries about the network issue. It still works when I activate on a per page bass anyways. Its nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Thanks for the best custom login plugin ever!

And thank you for your great video tutorials for the plugin! ??

Another thing I thought would be cool would be to have the ability to display a self hosted and/or YouTube video above the login for on the WP-login page ??

I think its creative to have a video on the login page ??

    Cheers!

Did you try out the new uploader and whether or not it works, taking a video instead of an image for the logo?

    It won’t, guess. ??
