I have WordPress set up in a subdirectory of an e-commerce site. My aim is to use WordPress as a CMS where I can post regular articles, related to my products.
I have customised the look of wordpress as that of my e-commerce site. And I have similar categories as on my ecommerce site.

Now what I want to do is to keep adding new articles in wordpress and add some code on the products page on ecommerce sites, so that whenever any new article is posted under related category, its link appears on the products page.
Please help how I can do it.
    Thanks for any support.

Can’t you just use the RSS feeds of the relevant WP category to show the latest post?

Thanks for your reply. What I want is to show the text links to all the topics in a particular category on another non WP page.

I’m interested in this, too, but I don’t see how the above article is an answer. I would like to show, on the category page, a list of links to the posts, not a list of the posts themselves, because the posts. Is this impossible to achieve without 1) use unrelated pages to show the links, and 2) hide the usual categories sidebar links, so the category view is avoided entirely?
Or, should I just use the “more” tag immediately after each post header, to achieve this effect?

But I see if I use this, it will cut off text in RSS feeds entirely. Hmm.

ah I did find the answer,

this is in index.php in the theme, not in category_template.php.
