I want to show a tooltip on a form that also has a contact form.

Simple issue. I’ve got a page with a long contact form on it — I’m using Contact Form 7 for this, and it works nicely. I’d like to put a small question-mark icon beside some fields that, when hovered over, displays an explanatory tooltip. The sort of thing you see all the time.

The problem is that I can’t find a solution that will actually let me do this. OpenTips does nothing at all; Simple Tooltips displays its shortcode as plain text, and won’t generate anything… nothing else I’ve tried has worked either.

Maybe I’m using these thigns wrong, maybe they’re incompatible. I’d just like to know, could someone tell me which option would actually let me do this?
