I want to move my site to subdirectory from subdomain

  • Hello, as I mentioned on topic I want to move my site to subdirectory from a subdomain.

    I have a site like that: name.example.com but right now I wish to change it to example.com/name. Same host, same installation files only wish to change URL adress.

    I looked Changing Site URL codex page but I’m confused. I don’t want to make so much trouble so I decided to ask you.

    All assistance will welcome, thank you.

  • Just move it. Then change the url settings of the WordPress. Try mod_rewrite to avoid missing links

    Thanks sdglhm.

    In WordPress’s General settings there is two URL box, Site URL and Home. I should change two of them I think. Right?

    But If you want to operate my files from my subdomain do I need to change only Home URL?
