I want to modify the number of visitors to widget area

Hi,

I’m working on a version of the plugin that adds caching of the output as well as better and more optimised tracking.

On the first point, are you saying you want to edit the number of visits for a post? You can edit the overall count by editing the post and changing the count at the bottom of the Edit post page in the Top 10 meta box.

Ok i see that number of “Overall” visits located in widget area can be changed, but i want to change number of “Custom time period” located in widget area?

In widget area i have shown 2 tabs:
“Most Read today” and “Most read this week”
First table i decided Range in number of days so “1 day”
And second table i decided same things Range in number but this time “7 day”
Now i want to change this Custom time period number of visits for 2 tables 1 day and 7 day?

And for optimise, this great plugin missing a lot one special cachable to make lot faster, i hope that the next version will be possible this thing.

The next version will have the caching.

On the custom time period, I’ll be adding some fields in the meta box to adjust the hits for the past few days.

The custom period works by adding up the number of hits over the past X days.

An informative question:
If i disable/uncheck “Enable Overall stats” and enable only “Enable Daily stats” can count visits correctly this plugin in widget area, and how many days count?
And please tell me what i lose if this option is disable?

I ask because i disable option “Enable Overall stats” to accelerate the opening/loading my website.

P.S For count visits in widget area i use “Custom time period”

You can choose to disable the overall stats and the daily stats will continue to tracking.

Unless you have the maintenance on, the daily stats will continue to populate so you can choose whatever time period you want.
