I want to limit where the email alerts are sent

  • I only want the alerts to be sent to the email address that is entered on the Option page. Even though I have only one email address there, it is still sending the alerts to the admin. I don’t want the admin address to receive the alerts. How can I correct this?

  • Hi Jim,
    I’ve just checked that and I can confirm -with the recent version of Wordfence- that it only sends emails to these ones in (Wordfence > Options => Where to email alerts), if you have changed this email address recently, it could be that you have many alerts emails already in the queue, so your server will send them first then you should get these emails sent to your new email address.

    I suggest, removing this email you have in “Where to email alerts” text box for now, and make sure you are no longer receiving any alerts email to this address, after that you can add your new one.
