I want to add a little addition functionality

First let me say that I love this plugin, I have tried several others and this is much better for mobile devices than the others.

Now my question… I am trying to find a way to move top rated posts up in categories and lower rated down. For instance post A has +15 rating while post B has a +300 rating. I want post B listed higher in the category, or higher on the page.

Is this possible?
Is a category better for this or a page? Category is preferred.
Can I put the ratings on top of thumbnails and images or are they always inside the post?
