I want some products to be only sold to wholesalers

Unfortunately if you do not put a regular price entry in, WooCommerce itself will hide the add to cart button. It’s not in the control of our plugin.

Do you want the product itself to be visible/sold to retail customers at all?

If not, you’d really be needing the product visibility controls which will give you more control over this. Then you can hide it from retail customers altogether.

Thanks for your input. May be you skipped my point. Let me reiterate.

There are a few products which can be bought by all. And there are a few which we only intent to sell to wholesalers. Now how to hide products that we do not intent to sell to common users but to wholesalers.

An easy solution is just remove the regular price and there is no add to cart button. But that denies the wholesaler from buying that product too.

I was just saying if you could provide a code or information where the add to cart button is there either if the regular price is there or the wholesale price is there. Should not be a tough nut to crack.

Sounds like a simple problem, but it actually is a tough nut to crack.

It’s one of the reasons that prompted us to include the product visibility features into Premium.

WooCommerce itself is the one hiding the product when there is no regular price inserted. The wholesale price field is a completely separate field that WooCommerce itself knows nothing about.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to have nothing in the regular price field while still showing the wholesale price to customers, but Premium lets you hide the product itself from retail customers using it’s visibility features which gives the same/better effect.

Dear Josh, sorry to add to this thread, however, I’m afraid I am not making headway with your support. How is the best way to contact you please? I have a similar issue to this user (having bought all three of your plugins) I only want products to be visible to the wholesaler and not any other role. This I have setup but they are still showing in the main website when not logged in. Also, rather than customise the cart (don’t know if it is possible to have a different cart for wholesale users) I would rather do away with the checkout process altogether.
