I want some pictures to open in lightbox, but some not to

  • I have the Other Options/Lightbox Effects applied to NextGen and WordPress images, because in my portfolio pages I have single images (not in a gallery) that I want to open in Lightbox.

    However, on one page I am using images of web site home pages I’ve designed to link to sections on the same page where galleries of that site are shown. When you click on the link, it opens the linked text in Lightbox. I do not want that to happen. Is there some way of overriding that for these anchor images?

    I’d hate to have to make all the other individual images “galleries” and reset the Lightbox Effects to just show NextGen Gallery images.

    @dosuntai – I would recommend the show NextGEN Gallery images only option and then switch your “portfolio page” images to SinglePic images (which you can add via the Add Media button).

    This should accomplish what you are trying to do with minimal changes to your set up as I understand it.
