• I am the first reviewer! YEY!

Downloader #81 here. This does what it says it does. However I decided to use it to hide a second version of a site I am currently working on for a customer and I don’t want the public to stumble upon it.

The only thing that is; once logged in, the top admin bar (menu) goes away. I would love this if you could add a check box in the setting to allow the developer to continue to have access to that top admin menu.

Other than that I think it is Plug and Play. BAM!

  • Thank you for your kind review.

There is actually nothing in the plugin that should hide the admin bar if it would otherwise show within your WordPress installation…

There must be some other plugins or settings causing this to happen.

If you get a chance to email me more details, I would happily take a look with you to help work out why – especially if it would mean your rating increases from 4 stars to 5 ??

    Please email [email protected]

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Better late than never!

You are right! I had another plugin that was in conflict with yours.

    Bam! Five Stars!

Well thank you for updating your review! Glad you found your problem in the end.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Where can I see a live version of this? The single sceenshot is not that informative.

The screenshot shows you all available configuration options.

To be honest, there’s not too much more to see… if you are not logged in to WordPress when you attempt to access any page of your site, you will be immediately redirected to your login page (/wp-login.php).

The other options are also ‘behind the scenes’ – e.g. automatically log out users who have been inactive for a certain length of time.

There are no lengthy configuration steps, so it shouldn’t take long just to try it out on your development site if you think it might be interesting to you.

Sorry not to have a specific demo site to show you though.

    Thanks,

    Dan
