    I tried doing the function change, usermeta to user_meta, to all usermeta tags in the subscribe2.php file. I also, although unnecessary, disabled other plugins, while installing the subscribe2 6.3 plugin using both the dashboard install program and using my FTP program.

    Looking at the subscribe2.php file, I noticed that not all, only some of the names were changed to user_meta, sometimes get_user_meta or user_meta_function were already changed, which confused me because even though it said, “all”, was it a function only change or was it only before or after the filter. I did change to reflect the _user_meta format but then looked at the filter section and noticed that it pretty much said what I was doing, so I thought it was going to take care of itself when run. I don’t have the ‘search’ to ‘query’ problem, does that matter. Obviously, I don’t have any PHP coding knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I tried to be informant of things I’ve done to remedy the problem, on my profile posts, hoping that it would remedy itself by downgrading or upgrading to versions that I do know it worked on, usually 2 versions over the minimum. My fixes were so basic until I decided to tackle the PHP file. I wanted to be more involved in fixing this problem, not always relying on the forum. As you can see, I need the forum now more than ever.

    The page is correct and my host’s server is not restricting any emails.

    @brainjured,

    I never believe any hosting provider who says their emails are not restricted. The flood of spam forces them to impose limitations otherwise they’d be blacklisted in minutes for sending tonnes of spam email.

    Find out what the limitations are from your hosting provider and what you need to do to get your emails sent.

    Try setting the number of recipients per email to one and also make sure that Subscribe2 is configured to send emails FROM an email that actually exists and is on your blog domain. So, if your blog is https://www.example.com/blog then emails should come from an email like [email protected] or [email protected].

    I can send the email preview(all 4) to myself without a problem. But does that only say that that address can receive from itself. I’ll do the changes as requested and get back to you…

    o yeah, I can send to all of my subscribers via the WordPress, ‘Posts’ tab of my dashboard. WordPress 3.1.2 came out on Friday, I think. So I upgraded to that since ‘off-the-peg’ said it was compatible up to 3.1.2.

    I don’t think it could be my path being changed because I can still access my blog fine. That’s why I started to think it was mysql database, but I don’t have any idea beyond that. Doesn’t my blog, site and plugin use the database together?

    I checked my spam filter and my address which is subscribed to my blog as administrator isn’t in the blocked list.

    I set the notification to 1, once daily at 12 AM. So we’ll see in about a half an hour.  I also did a post to include the invisible token.

    Unfortunately, the plugin is set to UTC time so we’ll see 12 AM tomorrow morning(about 15 hours).

    once hourly I changed it to, i’m sorry for wasting (y)our time. I’ll post to my blog now.

    @ 11:18am, my newest subscriber received the once daily with all 3 of my changes, once daily at 12AM(set time in future), once daily at 12Am + S2 and once hourly. I changed some settings as per Debbie’s subscribe2 ebook for version 6.2, . I figured it would give me a clearer understanding of the settings than the understanding I thought was right. Stand by…

    per post doesn’t seem to work so I went back to once hourly.

    blog time or utc time, should the future time be. Changing so many times is confusing me now, i think i’ll stop now and wait for you. I received that one email from my blog about the posts and got greedy since I thought it was closer to being fixed.

    @mattyrob
    Thank you for the plugin and your time.

    @brainjured,

    I’m hoping from your last comment that things are now working as you expect. If that’s not the case post here again or perhaps make a new thread and detail for me exactly what is happening and what you are expecting to happen. Also give full details of your current WordPress and Subscribe2 versions, any other plugins and your settings.

    @mattyrob,

    I do have a problem with the subscribe/unsubscribe email template, I did post a thread about that, S2 plugin, registration confirmation.

    @ brainjured,

    Can you give me a link to this thread?
