I think the last update broke some things

I run this plugin on a knowledgebase site at work, and ever since the last update and through the process of elimination (through plugin activation/deactivation), I’ve identified this plugin as either having or causing some strange issues.

For example:

-if I reactivate this plugin, the WordPress admin bar returns to the front end. (show toolbar remains unchecked in profile)

-when I reactivate this plugin, clicking on any post brings me to an upgrade page with the following text instead of the post. (No Update Required – Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!)

And while I can’t pin this next one on WP User Frontend because it happens with or without it activated, my sidebar widgets are now missing on all posts as well and only present on pages, despite not having any widget logic type plugin installed or theme options for widget control.

Something bizarre is going on, eh? Anyone else see any similar issues with this plugin lately?
