I think my WP is screwed

  • As the days go by, more and more functions of my wordpress is dying.

    First, my trackbacks and pingbacks won’t work. Then it stopped pinging technorati and blo.gs (even though the ping address is still there in the Update Services box)

    Then, my permalinks for my pages suddenly don’t work any more (i.e when I create new pages, the permalink structure doesn’t work any longer), even when my .htaccess file is CHMODded to 666

    I get spammed by the hundreds even with Bad Behaviour on.

    After that, WordPress doesn’t even parse my linebreaks (i.e when I type, I press the Return key, it goes to the next line. I don’t use the <Br> tags unless absolutely necessary.)

    Then I cannot post comments in Opera 9 (erm, I think this is an Opera issue)

    This cannot be a plugin issue, because I deactivated all plugins and still it happens.

    Maybe I’ll try to reinstall WordPress again.

  • Have you checked with your host to see if they’ve “upgraded” or changed something lately?

    Nope. Nothing’s changed. Coz I have 2 blogs on the same host and same domain (one’s a movie blog and the other’s a personal blog)

    My personal blog seems to be the one that is dying off

    That’s weird. So you didn’t install anything new? Or you did but then you deactivated it?

    Nope. Don’t think I installed any new plugins for WP, neither did the host install anything new…

    I’ll try reinstalling WP and see
