    I think my site has been hacked. Got a call from my ISP saying that there are mass emails being sent out from our IP address. Our site is running really slow and I can’t go into my users selections tab. All other tabs work fine right now. I only have two users myself and one other person so reseting that would not hurt me. mslomaha.com is my site address. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    Cool deal but they just took over everything, can’t even log into my cpanel. Can an infected computer allow a virus to hack the hosting server or is this something that had to be done by exploiting a vulnerablitly in my wordpress install? Any nice articles i can read on security a wp site?

    What version of WP are you using?

    As someone who has experienced all sorts of hacks, I can tell you how to upgrade easily but the first thing you should do is ask your host to help you get back in, perhaps change the FTP password and Admin password.

    yes they are on it as we speak. Using the latest version 2.9.2 i believe.
