    Yup, I must be!!

Is there ANY way to group images on one single page (maybe using the ‘Rel’ command?) so that the slideshow plays JUST the group clicked?

For instance I have a several ‘before’ and ‘after’ images, side by side, on a single page (no gallery) that I want a user to click on and see a slideshow cycling between the clicked images only….at the moment the slideshow cycles through ALL the images on the page.

I love this plugin but this is killing me here (and most probably due to the fact that I’m missing something fundamental)

    Many thanks for any help!

What do you mean by “clicked images only”? Is the user clicking on/selecting multiple images before launching SLB?

SLB supports global grouping (all links anywhere on the page) and grouping by post (all images within a post’s content). The former allows all image links on a page to be navigated through without leaving the lightbox (instead of closing the lightbox and clicking a different link while the latter allows pages with multiple posts (home page, archives, etc.) to keep image links from different posts separate.

    Hi Archetyped,

Thanks for the reply. No, the user only clicks one thumbnail. I’m basically trying to get SLB to group images (in blocks of two…the ‘before’ and ‘after’ images) so that SLB slideshows/cycles through just those two images only (once clicked on).

User clicks on another thumbnail, from a possible two again (same page) and SLB pops up and slideshows/cycles through just those two related images.

I’ve tried the rel=”lightbox[group1]”, rel=”lightbox[group2]” etc. in both the code and in the Rel Link in the image properties box all to no avail ??

    Thanks for the clarification.

Currently SLB supports the types of grouping described in my previous reply (global or per-post grouping). Other types of grouping are definitely in the plans for a future update.
