I received an email from facebook that their API is changing April 30th to the 2.0 API. In light of the author not supporting this plugin any more, Have any of you found something else that looks promising to switch to?

DEPRECATIONS
The 'export_stream' permission is no longer available.
The 'username' field on the user object has been removed.
All friend permissions ('friends_photos', 'friends_birthday', etc) have been removed. Friend data is no longer available.
CHANGED BEHAVIORS
All IDs are strings. In v1.0, IDs were often large numbers.
(Affects 100% of your app's API calls)
GET post/likes
The IDs used to identify a person are now unique for each app. v1.0 returned the same global ID across all apps. People who have already authorized your app will continue to have the same ID, only new users will have IDs unique to your app.
(Affects 100% of your app's API calls)
GET post/likes
The only permission that apps can request for publishing is the 'publish_actions' permission. v1.0 and earlier versions of API offered other publish permissions, like 'publish_stream'.
(Affects 100% of your app's API calls)
GET post/likes
When using a user access token and querying other users, non-friends behave as if they have not installed the application unless the
appsecret_proof
is provided
(Affects 100% of your app's API calls)
GET post/likes
The fields 'bio', 'education', 'hometown', 'likes', 'location', 'political', 'religion' and 'work' on the user object are now only available with the explicit permissions 'user_about_me', 'user_education_history', 'user_hometown', 'user_likes', 'user_location', 'user_religion_politics' and 'user_work_history' respectively.
(Affects 100% of your app's API calls)
GET post/likes

Thank you, Marcel. That makes me very happy. Do you have a donation link so those of us using your plugin can give you some encouragement to keep it working?

Version 1.215 updates the Facebook API to the latest version 2.2.

Thank you for keeping the plugin up to date!

We love this plugin – please keep the pro version alive!!

I have been running version 1.209, but it will not update to 1.215. I get an error message that it cannot update because it cannot remove existing files.

One of my clients update to 1.215 and that broke the linking to Facebook. She said something about multiple and old posts appearing. I returned her to 1.205 and now all is fine again.

Do we have to do something to the Facebook App to support this new version?

Worried… I have lots of clients using this plugn!!!
