We are really sorry to hear you feel this way.
We tried to make sure our free version of Modula has a lot of features that most people need. Modula Lite contains a bunch of features most free galleries do not have.
We do have a Pro version and we try to sell it, of course, as that keeps our company going and allows us to keep updating and improving the plugin.
As for lying, I am not sure I understand where the lie or deception was. It is mentioned in our description here that only the premium version allows for more than 20 images per gallery.

We are not looking to deceive users. Nonetheless, we will double check our description and see if it needs further improvement.
