I reverted to pre V6 because of issues

  • The whole site was messed up after updating to v6. I luckily was able to revert to a previous version, but it was just a quick fix, because we were taken by surprise and needed the page to be ok again very quick. Now i question if it will be possible to just use the older version and never update again or if there is a safe version already that doesn’t mess with our css or doesn’t force me to use new features or a theme we don’t need and want. Whats your experience? after 10 years happy customer, it could be a tipping point to move on. id rather stay if possible.

  • I haven’t found a newer version that’s safe. My site is broken under all v6 versions.

    If you wish to revert to the original concise mini calendar widget, paid support recommended doing this:

    PATH:

    your website

    public_html

    wp-content

    themes

    theme-child

    create new:

    “plugins” folder

    “events-manager”
    “templates”
    ->add copy in version 5 file:
    “calendar-small.php”
