• I updated a page on my WordPress site to remove the password protect by changing it to public. When I go to Firefox though, it still has the password page. It has already been 15+ minutes since I updated it to not have the password anymore.

I have already gone to Firefox’s developer tools and set Disable Cache when Toolbox is open, hitting Ctrl + Shift + R, and clearing the cache for Firefox.

I also downloaded the W3 Total Cache plugin and cleared all the cache on my WordPress site.

Does anyone know what is causing this and what the solution might be?

So I didn’t figure out what was wrong. One workaround though was to create a duplicate of the page and remove the original. This forced the browser to load the new page with all the specifications.

Seems like a big issue for WordPress that needs to be addressed.

Can you show us your website? WordPress doesn’t do caching by default, so we need to figure out what’s causing it.
