I regret switching to Yoast

  • After the last update, the OG/FB Image is Ignoring my customized post settings and just grabs the Featured Image of my post.

    I am going back in time when everything was simple and working, All in One SEO.

    Thanks for your review.

    I’m sorry to hear that the wrong image was shown when sharing your posts on Facebook. I can imagine how frustrating it’s when the image you’ve selected in Yoast SEO isn’t shown on Facebook.

    I see that you opened a forum topic here. Our support team found duplicate OG tags when inspecting the source code of one of your pages. Sometimes 3rd party plugins or themes may output OG tags.

    I understand that you’re currently using another SEO plugin. If you decide to switch back to Yoast SEO in the future, feel free to reply to the forum topic if the issue persists. We’d love to have another look at the problem and assist you further.

    As explained no plugins or my theme is responsible for this because I have disabled all of them. The moment I switched to All in one SEO the issue is resolved.

    I had this issue with Yoast after the recent update.
