• I was wrong. I heard and read all of the negative feedback on Gutenberg, but I saw this stunning theme with good reviews on Themeforest, so I bought it, only to find it COMPLETELY unusable because of Gutenberg. I have never experienced such levels of frustration with any other block editor I’ve used in my life. I’ve been designing with WordPress for almost 10 years and I’ve used everything under the sun. There are are some bad ones out there—like I said, I thought I was prepared for the worst. Nothing could prepare me for the dumpster fire that this so called “block editor” is. I cannot accomplish the most mundane tasks without using the pre-formatted theme or Gutenberg blocks. Do you want to center a button on a page? GOOD LUCK. I’ve been trying for an hour, but even using the columns block is buggy and doesn’t yield results. Moral of this story, if you see a beautiful theme that only supports Gutenberg, don’t—I beg you—don’t buy it. It’s like peeing on your money, waiting for it to dry, then setting it on fire; you’d think the smell of that would be bad? It would be nothing compared to the fetid stench arising from this monstrosity. WordPress should be ashamed of themselves.
