I was having trouble recalling my password for my site, so I reset it. The problem is that I do not have access to the email address that was originally set up with the site (obviously, I did not realize this when I reset it). So now I am royally locked out of the account. Any suggestions?

This has different ways to change your password.

Hm… Yeah, this actually does not help. I cannot login at all (like cannot login to the back end through php or anything). In fact, to use this support form, I had to create a new username just to login and use the support forum. To complicate things, I had set my website to forward you to another address (I clearly have no idea what I am doing).

Is there anyone I can talk to, or anyone that I can call to walk me through my options here?

Sorry – I am like a baby when it comes to technology.

The article that kmessinger linked discusses ways to reset your password other than logging into the dashboard, but it requires technical knowledge. It sounds like you need to hire someone instead: https://jobs.wordpress.net
