This site is fast becoming my worst nightmare, No staff whatsoever… No live chat, email support or call centres. They are years behind their competition in that regard.

This software is free, and the support forums are manned by volunteers. You’re free to do as you see fit, but perhaps your issues aren’t with WordPress itself at this point.

Judging from your other post, you need to consult your (friends) web hosting service and spend some time with that end of the issue, learning how that all works first, then if you actually have a WordPress related issue, this would be the place to ask about it.

That was not exactly the nicest nor most helpful response I could have received. Why bother respond at all if nothing you say is constructive or advisory?

I wouldn’t bother coming to some random forum asking for help if I hadn’t already spoken to the web hosting service. They pointed me towards wordpress and lucky me I have found you. So much thanks for the help hun.

Well, then now that we’re actually beginning a dialog, why don’t you provide some information that might be useful rather than simply bursting through the door like you’ve just dropped your candy in the dirt?

I’ll be more than happy to take a look at the existing domain and see if you’ve chosen the correct place to ask for assistance, or if you’re in the wrong spot demanding service. Can you share the existing domain name with us? We can start be seeing if it’s a wordpress.org platform or a wordpress.com issue for starters. ??
