I have severals blog using it “successfully” (IMHO).
MacManx kindly pointed to Simple Thoughts Blog – blog.taragana.com above. It uses a custom theme.

The layout is dependent on the theme used.

I know several A-List (whatever that means) bloggers who switched to WordPress.

You should start with default theme (characterized by big blue blob in the middle ?? ), then experiment with others.

Not all themes are same, nor are syntactically (XHTML spec wise) correct. You should experiment a lot before you adopt one or stick with Kubrick or its variants like LiewCF’s version with three column.

Personally I spent quite sometime with different available themes before I designed the Simple Thoughts theme.

One of my intern recently spent couple of days evaluating several themes. At the end I decided to rollout a new version of my theme which will be applied to all of the above blogs. The point is if you want to have it your way, you probably have to design your own theme in the end.

Coolness is a personal factor. What is cool may not be usable in your scheme of things. For example I found Crimson Milk to be a cool theme. However I couldn’t use it for several reasons.

You may want to check AdSense terms of service. Chitika is context sensitive. Using it with AdSense on the same page is probably violating AdSense TOS.

Personally I haven’t. I will check with my staff and let you know. She is writing up a review of several themes and her views on them.

Having been a reader of many of those blogs for a while, I know how he does it.
First he cloned himself, but something went wrong with the process, and instead of perfect copies, he eneded up with a set where each one was unique. He then sent them to live in various parts of the world, telling them “Go forth and blog.” And so they did. And on the either day, he rested.

Actually, only https://www.macmanx.com/blog/ is mine. The rest are daily reads from my blogroll.

If you mean to ask how do I stay up to date and read each of them daily, I use a combination of RSSOwl, Bloglines, and Newsgator.
