I need to push and pull can only done one

When I setup the cdn settings for Cachefly I can get uploaded files to push using the ftp option for Origin Push. However, when a file that was put on the cdn is inserted into a page it shows the WordPress URL. When I change it over to Origin Push (generic) the url will change but nothing will upload to the cdn.
I’ll have multiple users and switching back and forth really isn’t possible. Can I setup the CDN to push uploaded files and pull when viewed?
