    Hi,

my template does not run pages created by the plugin automatically, so the page this way it works fine: xxx.it/events

but this way doesn’t work: xxx.it/events/single event

I need to customize the link in the title event.

I need in the “Events” page, these details:

address, phone/email for info, image (thumbnail) or map (thumbnail with link).

    Is this possible?

    Thanks!

    Thanks agelonwl,

Do you have a tutorial for me? How I use your code?

    thanks for your support!

Someone else created that script, you’d need to modify accordingly (PHP experience required here).

However, I think your problem is theme related, in which case you may want to contact yoru theme provider about this.

The other suggestion I could have for you is to use a different slug for your events compared to that of your events page, I’ve seen that cause problems with another theme once recently (normally it works fine).

e.g. for the events page, give the permalink such as

    eventi-list

and for normal single events in Events Manager> Settings> Permalink> Eventi you’d use the normal events slug or whatever else you’d prefer, so long as the events page and that are different

    Hi Marcus,

The theme designer doesn’t give me any assistance about his product. I’ve
tried all of the plugins for events. Same problem still.

I think there isn’t any solution. Maybe do I have to write the events in the page without using plugins?

Like the ancient past… The producers of this kind of plugin don’t give any personalization of the link of the single event. It’s such a pity!

    Thanks for the support!

    Ciao,

Have you tried using a different “slug” instead of eventi? Try using something else under Events > Pages > Permalink Slugs.

It also might be worth adding a second event to see if that works. it could just be something weird with the first event.

I am guessing your theme already has some sort of events support or is made to show events? That’d explain all the conflicts.

Two things to try, firstly, see our suggestions about the permalinks. Secondly, look at your theme and see if you find a single-event.php file, try deleting or renaming that.

    Hi Marcus,

The template does not have a support events.

I have tried all the events wordpress plugin. I had the same problem. The link event (widgets in sidebar) does not work.

To solve the problem in the sidebar widget I used the plugin “spiffy calendar.” The plugin “spiffy calendar” enables me to customize the link.

    Look: santonicito.it/blog

The problem existed before installing “spiffy calendar”

Now I try to follow the advice on permalink

    Thanks for the support!

unfortunately there’s not much else we could suggest. given your theme doesn’t work properly with any event plugins, I’d recommend scrapping your theme and going for an alternative, given your theme maker isn’t helping you with this either.

Otherwise, you could consider hiring someone to help fix the theme, from the looks of it your theme just doesn’t handle links within a page very well, given it uses ajax to load pages.

    Hi Marcus,

I can not change theme ??
I can customize the link in the title of a single event? Exist a trick?

Looking at the source code, it seems your theme isn’t loading the content as it’s supposed to.

Is there any way to disable the lightbox / ajax loading of content and just display the page content normally?

    Ciao caimin_nwl,

The template has a function “Load pages via ajax”, I have disabled the function, but disabled:

    – The problem “permalink Event” is not solved

    – And the blog page does not work

    Thanks for your support!

At this point, I think we’re probably out of ideas. The best thing is to ask for help from the theme designer.

This is the Cascade theme from Theme Forest? There’s a support forum listed on the page for the theme on Theme Forest:

    Hi caimin_nwl,

The support of the theme has a website.

This is the response of the support: “Theme using custom url structure and ajax to load page content, so plugins may not be compatibile with it”

    @marcus
I can customize the link in the title of a single event? Exist a trick?
Very nice if in your plugin there is an option to customize the link.
A good helper to use the plugin in a template having a special structure

    Thanks for your support!
