    Hi!

You have to set up 8 WBS rules:

    1.
Profile name: Canada express up to 1kg
    Title: Cost express delivery
    Countries: Canada
    Handling Fee: 25
Max Weight: 1000 (if your Woocommerce weight unit is gram)

    2.
Profile name: Canada express above 1kg
    Title: Cost express delivery
    Countries: Canada
    Handling Fee: 25
    Min Weight: 1001
    Shipping Rate: 10 ($5 for 500g, so $10 for 1kg)
    Weight Step: 500

    3.
Profile name: International express up to 1kg
    Title: Cost express delivery
    Countries: All except Canada
    Handling Fee: 30
    Max Weight: 1000

    4.
Profile name: International express above 1kg
    Title: Cost express delivery
    Countries: All except Canada
    Handling Fee: 30
    Min Weight: 1001
    Shipping Rate: 10
    Weight Step: 500

    5, 6, 7, 8.
Another 4 rules for Standard delivery is similar to the above.

    Dangoodman you are incredible!!!

You saved my life, really thank you so so so much ?? i just configured the rules that you told me so i have some questions after that:

1.- In the Settings for International/standard above 1kg configuration i checked extra weight only (but i don’t know if it was necessary and you forgot it to tell me). Check this screen https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67867000/Screen%20Shot%202015-01-13%20at%208.16.15%20PM.png

2.-How the system will know when and order has so many items that in the check out the weight of the total order is over 1kg and has to apply the rate for it? THAT’ S MY BIG DOUBT :O

3.-I deactivated all the others shipping rates (flat, local, etc) just leave the new 8 rules.

THOUSAND THANKS IN ADVANCE! KISSES! ??

Hi there, I just used your email via the plugin to send the same message, thought it might be more helpful to repost it here.

Can you tell me how I would set it up for selling our books?
For the sake of this question I will say each book weighs 5 oz.

    1 book, shipping = $5
    2-4 books, shipping = $11.00
    5-9 books, shipping = $14.50
    10-20 books, shipping = $22.00

I have struggled with this for hours. Hoping you can easily guide me. Thank you so much!!!

    Wow ??

    1. Correct. “Extra Weight Only” should be checked. I didn’t mentioned it b/c it’s checked by default.

    2. I’m not sure I get you but will try to explain. Every product has Weight field which you have to set up before it can be used in WBS. WBS is working with the total cart weight which is just a sum of all products’ Weights. Does that make sense?

    3. Right, in your case.

    Hi, 1dayjapan.

I’m duplicating here your config so others can use it as an example.

Assuming all books have the same weight, 0.5 oz.

    1.
    Profile name: 1 book
    Handling Fee: 5
    Max Weight: 0.5

    2.
    Profile name: 2-4 books
    Handling Fee: 11
    Min Weight: 0.501
    Max Weight: 2

    3.
    Profile name: 5-9 books
    Handling Fee: 14.5
    Min Weight: 2.001
    Max Weight: 4.5

    4.
    Profile name: 10-20 books
    Handling Fee: 22
    Min Weight: 4.501
    Max Weight: 10

    Hello Dan,
This thread has helped with some of my issues with respect to different WBS rules for each region (Canada/US/International), but I have a secondary issue. The packaging for my product weight, I’m not sure how to include this, but only with first product added. I also have two sizes of product, that require 2 different size packaging options, and therefore weights for the 2 different packaging options.

    For example,
    6″x8″ packaging weight = 41 g; each product 9 g
    8 1/2″ x 11″ packaging weight = 94 g; each product 20 g

shipping costs are based on 50g-100g, then 100g-200g, increments.

I’m hoping you can help me congfigure this correctly, Jo

    Hi Jo,

I don’t think it’s possible to achieve this with the plugin. Maybe there are other plugins available exposing package handling features.
