I first had clicked on the Quick start one click settings. There was also the author archive. With a click i had disabled it. So I wanted to enable it again, but just enabling the author widget at WIDGETS was not sufficient.

What did the trick was: ADVANCED SETTINGS – IMPORT-EXPORT: logging for author and then deleting these parts.

Is this the correct way or is there another?

  • Hi

The option you are looking for is Clearfy -> SEO -> Dublicate pages -> Remove author archives

But I wanted to show the archives. May be I was not clear.
Clearfy let them disappear, when you click at the Quick start options.

But than (regretting I clicked on the author part) it turned out to be difficult to have the author archive show again.

I mean, if you turn off this option, you will get the archives back.

About the option you found first. The widgets section allows you to disable only widgets – blocks that are placed on the sidebar.
