I hope you are doing well

so you can use CSS to remove the search icon from the home page.

Here is the step first log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard > to go Customizer > Additional CSS > and paste this CSS code over there.

.topbar .header-right .main-search {
    display: none !important;
}

Tested and worked successfully!
