• Hi,

Yoast Analytics is a great plugin that I have been using for a while now quite happily.

Now, I find myself in need of using custom dimensions for my google analytics tracking. I am well aware that the premium version of the plugin offers a smooth and easy implementation of common custom dimensions like author, category or tag.

The thing is, I want to track a type of status for my posts that is unique to my business. In fact, the data that I want to feed into google analytics does not even exist in vanilla WordPress or WooCommerce.

Is there a way I cann add this without modifying the plugin itself?
My understanding is that the custom code in the advanced settings of the plugin comes before the pageview is sent. However, because my custom dimension works on pageviews (Scope ‘Hit’) I would need to send it together with the pageview, right?

May be a bit unique problem, but any pointers are appreciated.

    Cheers,
    buynai
