I need option to change the vendor in bulk edit

    Hi,

    we have lots of products. And need to change the vendor of many products in bulk. But currently, not able to do so, as don’t have option to change the vendor in bulk edit.

    going to each and every product and changing the vendor name manually to something else is difficult.

    admn panel >> products >> quick edit >> we have option to change the vendor.

    But, when we are doing bulk edit of many products together >> we are not getting the option to select/ change the vendor

    Please tell the solution for this issue ASAP.

  • Hello,

    We currently don’t have a bulk edit action for changing the vendor. I have just added an enhancement issue to our GitHub to get this added.

    For now the quickest way would be to export all the products with the WooCommerce export tool and include the vendor_id column. Then change the vendor_id in the column and then re-import the products. This should update them with the new vendor.

    so in csv, we have to create an extra column named vendor_id. and in that we have to enter that particular user/vendor id. right?

    Apologies for the miscommunication. This is currently a Pro feature, I will get this moved into WC Vendors Marketplace for our next release.
