I need help please

  • Hi members,

    I am new here, I have the Atahualpa theme site and I have added a static article to my front page but I now want to add snipetts of say 5 articles immediately below this and was wondering if anyone can give me a step by step instruction on how to do this.

  • Depending on whether or not you are comfortable adding html directly into your theme files, one easy option is to add the code in your theme’s index.php file, right above the list of posts.

    Take a look at my site for example: https://www.dagondesign.com/

    The ‘Browse Article Topics’, ‘Stay Updated by Email’, the notice in the grey box, were all just manually added to my index.php file. Then below that, it displays the list of posts as normal.

    Another option is to add in code to generate multiple WordPress loops, but a lot more would be involved with that.
