I need help adding a sub site to my multisite project

    Hi,
    I have a main site mainsite.com.au.
    It has 5 sub site(New Set)
    main-site-A.com.au
    main-site-B.com.au
    main-site-C.com.au
    main-site-D.com.au
    main-site-E.com.au

    I need to add a new sub site main-site-F.com.au

    Note: The 5 subsites had names (Old Set)
    A.mainsite.com.au
    B.mainsite.com.au
    C.mainsite.com.au
    D.mainsite.com.au
    E.mainsite.com.au

    Our company asked to change the names from Old set to new set sue to some reason.
    So to achieve this Our previous programmer had used Domain mapping plugin.Which is now upadted to version 0.5.5.1.

    I have an option to add a new site from WordPress but it only lets me add a site by the name F.mainsite.com.au
    I want it to be main-site-F.com.au

    This is what i have tried to do. I added the site from wordpress
    F.mainsite.com.au and it works fine, i can view it in browser.

    Later i edited the name by simply changing it to main-site-F.com.au and got this error

    The server at main-site-F.com.au can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

    Can anyone explain what to do to achieve this?

    The server at main-site-F.com.au can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed.

    That message is telling you that the DNS for your domain is not set up. You fix that at your domain registrar.
